Who we are
Fenghe Technology is a research-driven high-tech enterprise dedicated to the development of intelligent, high-end equipment for oil and gas exploration, and a controlled subsidiary of a listed company. The company is headquartered in Hangzhou — a city long celebrated for its scenery and quality of life — where it operates a 20-mu (approximately 1.3-hectare) manufacturing campus with a modern office building.
We are certified to ISO 9001:2015 (quality management), ISO 14001:2015 (environmental management) and ISO 45001:2018 (occupational health and safety management). Our overall R&D capability in ultra-deep and high-angle well logging is recognised as internationally leading.
The company currently employs more than 170 people and has received numerous honours, including Hangzhou Famous Brand Product, the Government Quality Award, Hangzhou Top 100 High-Growth Enterprises, Zhejiang Provincial Specialised, Refined, Distinctive and Innovative (SRDI) SME, National SRDI “Little Giant” Enterprise, and Zhejiang Made Premium Product. We operate a provincial-level R&D centre led by a returnee PhD with nearly 20 years of industry experience; engineers account for approximately 55% of our R&D staff.
We have repeatedly undertaken National Innovation Fund and major Hangzhou municipal science and technology projects, and several of our new products have been certified as Zhejiang Provincial First (Set) Equipment.

Track record
From single open-hole tools to a full portfolio
Since its founding, the company has held to a single philosophy: design petroleum instruments with scientific and advanced technology, and manufacture products with the craftsmanship needed to meet what our customers actually require.
Our portfolio has grown from single conventional open-hole tools — sonic, laterolog and induction — into a multi-domain, fully serialised product line covering open-hole, cased-hole and MWD/LWD applications, including:
- WILS-A high-speed pulse-code imaging logging system (175 °C / 140 MPa, Ø92 mm)
- WILS-P high-speed pulse-code high-temperature logging platform (185 °C / 180 MPa, Ø92 mm)
- EELS ultra-high-temperature, high-pressure slimhole logging system (260 °C / 210 MPa, Ø79 mm)
- eMPT high-speed telemetry seven-parameter production logging system
- α-series MWD/LWD system
Fenghe invests continuously and heavily in new products and new technologies, which is what keeps our engineering capability moving forward. The company currently holds 118 applied-for and granted national patents, including 8 invention patents. We have built a distinctive product portfolio whose technology is recognised as leading in China and advanced internationally, and we have successfully developed a number of instruments that replace imported equivalents.
Our service quality is valued by customers as highly as our products. “Great tools, great service” has become the defining character of the Fenghe brand. Fenghe products are deployed across CNPC, Sinopec and CNOOC, and are in service in more than 30 countries.
We have established strategic cooperation agreements with CNPC and Sinopec to jointly advance the application of logging, mud logging and MWD/LWD technology in oil and gas exploration and development.
